Nothing.. I've waited and waited...dug and dug, and still there is no word on anything concrete being done with the UFL.
The best I've found is a Wikipedia entry that states the UFL is being formed in L.A. Las Vegas, and Mexico City, with hopes to have teams in Orlando, and San Antonio.
It also goes to state that Cuban is ready to pay $30 million for a franchise fee for the rights to set up in Las Vegas.
$30 million? My goodness!!!!
Saw this in a USATODAY story.
"Michael Huyghue, formerly a counsel for the NFL and vice president for the Jaguars but more recently the agent for Pacman Jones, has a new job: Commissioner of the United Football League, the start-up venture backed by NBA Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban."
Here is the link to his background.

I'd really wish he'd reconsider and do a RUGBY league instead in America. JMO.

I hope this league actually materializes. Although anything other than the NFL is a huge dropoff, there is always room for more football. I may be in the minority, but I actually miss the USFL, XFL and NFL Europe. Any news on this league would be appreciated.
