Congrats on the move. There must be some disappointed Billings fans who were hoping for a renewed rivalry.

Now we need to hear where San Diego is officially going.

I bet San Diego's going AIFA too...They had a BIG rivalry with Wyoming last year (because they were the NIFL West's only two legit teams).

If that does happen...Move over, Legends/Freeze!

congrats gocavs1 thats awesome, welcome to the aifa :). maybe your cavs and my guard will meet up again, was a great game back in july(cavs played very well). who knows maybe we'll get our triplet known as the shockwave in the aifa as well and get the chance for the 3 teams to play each other during the season, but doubt it. know how much it would cost for you guys or s.d. to come here and vice versa. CONGRATS AGAIN ON OFFICIALLY BEING OUT OF THE NIFL(though we know you guys have been out for awhile lol).

Good for the Casper community and the Cav fans. But who will they play? Hope this isn't a repeat of the NIFL deception.
Remember our troops, jack and cheryl

If it does happen, can all you Cavs fans and SD fans play nice on these boards?

The Laytons dont have a lease. Good luck finding somewhere to play. And good luck getting the management to renew it.

I am curious to hear more on what you are saying. It has been my experience that the Laytons are honorable. Are you implying that a deal with the arena has not yet been signed? If so, I would think that would just be a matter of time and negotiation.

But you seem to be implying that the arena is no longer interested in filling dates for the Cavalry. That doesn't make sense to me. The arena makes money on those dates. I need to hear some sort of reason as to why the arena would not want to make that money.

I have heard that the Cavalry have one more year on their lease before they need to renegotiate. The City pulled out due to the fiasco of the NIFL, and yes the arena wasnt interested in the NIFL product any longer. Now that they moved leagues things might run smoother. The Cavalry are a very solid run organization and a very good product on the field. I dont see them not renegotiating a lease.

On the other hand, until we hear of what the west coast expansions are, we are all in the dark. I hope the AIFA isnt blowing smoke and has a west coast division. If not the travel costs and no rivals might cause some major problems in future operations.

You are right. The Calvary cannot afford expensive travel.

Since it is done, there is no sense in arguing that they made the wrong decision. I had hoped they would consider the UIF, but I think hard personal feelings prevented that.

All I can do now is wish them the best.
