Do you really think Philly is getting 16,000 a game?

Maybe the owners get lied to, also.

Meanwhile, these things sort themselves out. The AFL should NEVER publically shut down a franchise; as in folding a team merely because of poor attendance. The franchises will likely be subject to natural forces soon enough anyway (in other words, let them fold on their own), which is no different than the distant or recent history of the league. It is retrenching, and I see Jaws' comments on that matter as an owner with self-serving motivation.

This is what Jaws actually said...
"The league needs to get out of Las Vegas where they are
drawing 3500, get out of Grand Rapids, where they are
drawing 4000. That will help."

He said nothing about "shut down".

He very well could have meant relocate.
St Louis , Boston , Houston (pure speculation)
who knows ? He didn't say "shut down" thats
for sure.

And the Premier Indoor league , United Indoor Football
would definitely look sweet in Grand Rapids to boot.(JMHO) :)

The sky is falling ... the sky is falling.

Why relocate when you can pocket a huge expansion fee?
