I don't think Mr. Cox is very well "edukated", or at least not very good a press releases. He keeps putting out these pathetic press releases. Maybe he could hire someone for that???

Pretty much on par for an ABA owner though.

I heard he actually won this franchise at a Waffle House off I-75 in Georgia.

It gets worse....

July 10, 2004 - During the NBA Summer Pro League ballgame today Sam Cox grabbed the rebound over four NBA Pros ballplayers and leaped about three foot off the floor as he dunked the ball, with the crowd looking on in disbelief.Even though the ABA Gwinnett Gwizzlies ran out of time, with the final score being 123-110 in favor of the NBA Pros,a future Pro basketball star was born today. Cox finished the ballgame with 11 points,5 assist and 5 rebounds in 27 minutes of play to due early foul trouble.Six of Cox points were way behind the NBA 3-point line.Ned Rolsma had 15 points,8 rebounds. Jason Stewart had 22 points and Bruce Zabukovec 12 rebounds. The NBA fan based crowd at the Long Beach Pyramid oftened cheered and applauded the ABA Gwinnett Gwizzlies.

God, that's awful. What a joke that franchise is.

Sam, I knew it got worse but I didn't want to torture anyone (especially myself) anymore.

The Gwinnett press releases look fine to me. I only question the content.

"Pro Basketball their is a new kid on the block, Sam Cox"

You don't capitalize proper names in certain cultures. their heinken (I think that is his last name) is from one of those cultures obviously. He played for an obscure division III team where he obtained the nickname "Pro Basketball". The title above is directed at Sam Cox. Therefore, Pro Basketball their (heinken) is a new kid on the block. Sam Cox better watch out for this up and coming star.

"...and leaped about three foot off the floor..."

Makes sense to me. Many basketball players leap three FEET off of the floor. Only a select few jump so high that three feet seems like only one foot. Hence, "three foot" is proper usage. Anything above three foot is expressed as feet for these extreme leapers though.

Oooookay! I guess my attempt at dry wit was a little TOO dry.

Yeah, Ken, I think so. It took me several times through, but I finally caught on. Don't give up though. I appreciate it when someone at least tries to do some creative writing.
