Not suprising and is probably for the best, but you have to miss him just a little.....

He has the recruiting and managerial skills. He just needs to get his head screwed on right. I hope he has learned something and gets another chance someday.

I don't like this sort of thing, even if it is good that he's gone, it just makes me nervous about the status of the league as a whole, especially with the drug busts and Bradenton's. But then I look at the attendance stats and I feel alot better. Sorry for the scare!

Your concern about the league may be legit. I had a couple of friends in the league as interns at South Georgia and they were told they were out of a job in the past few days because of cutbacks. There were also cuts in other teams offices as well.

Another interesting thing that came out of the discussion from the South Georgia dismissings was the fact that the league is at a point financially where they should not have been until the start of year 2. My guess is that they ran aground faster than expected and they have lost $3,000,000 or $4,000,000.
