3 and 4 Umps

Saturday night I stopped out in Left field for half an inning on the way to another event and I noticed there were 4 umps on the field in LB. Than today there were 3 umps on the field.

I would like to say THANK YOU GBL for hearing our concerns about the lower caliber officiating this year. I hope that this is a sign of things to come and than a permanent change is in order.

Anyone else notice during the weekend at their games?

I was at Saturday nights game, and in talking with a few St. George fans-they had mentioned Friday nights game was pretty chipppy---could that be the reason for the extra umps? I do wish they would go back to at least the 3umpire set full time. If it helps get one or two extra callls right in a game, I am all for it!
