It sure is hard for a new league to prosper. The SCl seems to have done very well so far but losing Bradenton and now Port Charlotte will present problems.
Anybody know where new teams will be started?

NC is full of minor league and college summer league play so it will be difficult to penetrate that market. Are there any opportunities left in FL, GA or SC?

I am pulling for these guys.

First of all, Welcome Crusty! Hope you enjoy your time here, we need all the help we can get! :p

There's been some discussion here on where to relocate the Bradenton franchise, with a lot of support for keeping it somewhere in Florida. Now we're looking at losing both Florida franchises it may open the door to other states, I don't know.

I remember "Mr Ed" suggesting Alabama as a possibility, and geographically it would seem a good option, I hope the league makes a decision relatively soon so those franchises can get into the community and stir up some interest for next year.

Having a team in Tallahasee would be great!
I would think Alabama would be a good spot also.Does Dothan have a stadium?
If a team was moved to Lower Alabama ;my suggestion for the team name would be the Riot.
The L.A. Riot!!!!!!!!!!! Get it ?!
Wally Backman could move there and be the leader of the Riot.
