I wonder who put this info in there???

Personally, I think neither Fayetteville nor Wyoming wanted to be known as the NIFL Champions.
I think it is more fitting for the league NOT to have a champion for the 2007 season. It does not deserve to have one. Let it die, (I am hoping) with out playing an Indoor Bowl in it's final season that wasn't.
I am not even sure San Diego would be proud to be the NIFL champs...maybe the Budweiser Indoor Professional Champs, but not the NIFL champs.
PS. The note after the 2007 score
Fayetteville Gaurd Wyoming Cavalry 53-34
Note: The 2007 game was named Indoor Professional Championship Game as it was not an officially sanctioned game by the NIFL and both teams were removed from the league before the game was played.
