Well, today the NLL decides whether or not to fully approve them...

Well, they've got the lease deal (GM Place), as well as 1,000 confirmed season tickets as of Wednesday, with 1,500 more waiting that they hope to confirm...

Can they do it? Any word on them?

When is an announcement supposed to be made? It's already close to COB on the east coast.

It took a couple more days. Vancouver was denied.

Rumor is that the lease was secured and deposits were full (some dispute on 2,500 deposits), but that Bob Whitsitt couldn't get together investors to displace some older Ravens participants, whose credit with the league is zilch. Such is life.
