The Mayberry Deputy is scheduled to appear in Macon on Friday Night, August 3rd while the Juice play the Music.

No OJ, please.

Maybe the Mayberry Deputy could help O.J. with his obviously exhaustive search.
The SCL probably thought Juice might create images of players on steroids not "alleged" murderers as mascotts.
Maybe the Juice name wasn't the best of choices.
If the team is moved out of FL they would,I am sure, use another name and put the Juice on ice for later use.
In all honesty Juice is a good name for a FL team.It is unfortunate the stadium situation did not work out better.

Oh man. The Mayberry deputy was down in Charlotte County when we played the music about a month back. He was signing pictures of himself and handing them out. Pretty goofy stuff

Hey PoppinFresh,
I wish I could take credit for that fine camerawork, but it is the product of the photographers from our local newspaper, the Anderson Independent.

Hi SCL forum gang! I've been reading the forum for awhile now and decided to join in on the fun, AND to let you know that yes, there really are some Juice Fans out there.

I'm looking for photos of the Juice, and since their "home" newspaper doesn't give much coverage of the team, let alone any photos, I'm putting out this call for any links to Juice photos, other than the ones mentioned in the above entries to this thread.

Ok, now for the opinion part:
I support the SCL for its seemingly genuine efforts to get these guys to the next level, and back to affiliated ball. I do hope, however, that controversial managers' antics, forcing constant league reactions don't undermine the rest of the baseball community's ability to take the South Coast League seriously. This is about baseball, its neither the WWF nor is it a circus sideshow act. If you're looking to be a one man show, go on broadway, but leave the SCL alone. I do applaud the SCL for their strong policy with regards to drug use by players. This league is doing many things right. I sincerely they keep up with those things and let the troublemakers go on to their own destinies. I do not believe that negative press is good press.

Glad to have you on board. You're already talking good sense :) .
Bad news about the stadium problems. Hopefully something will work out to your benefit before next season.
In the meantime, we'll be on the lookout for Juice action photos!
