Gee the Rochester Fire logo looks a lot like the old Westchester Wildfire logo of the USBL.

The "Fire" part and the flames are exactly the same.

That wouldn't be the first thing ripped off by the ABA! This doesn't surprise me at all. Heck, I'm waiting to see if Orlando continues to use the Aces logo, which I developed. Oh...am I waiting. Please do it...please do it!

If you're going to compare the images, do it this way:

Rochester:

Westchester:

The Halifax Rainmen logo is the same as the Colorado Springs Storm from a few years ago.

what a blatant ripoff. i mean how original can you be? gee what will his logo for the Rome team be? A ripoff of the Rome Gladiators logo?

My first impression when I saw the Rochester Fire logo a few months back was that it looked way too good for an ABA team.

Now we know it was!

especially from a team that was in the USBL and actually drew a crowd

with a good photshop program, and since they both end in -chester, putting RO over WEST is easy, and convenient

If there were pro teams in Dorchester, Manchester (if only Man U played basketball!), or Chester, NJ (or Chichester, I suppose), they would have had more choices.

Thanks Chuck. I didn't know how to do that. Much more effective.

That one is not quite as blatant.
