Glancing through the new website for the Orlando Aces, I noticed that Alex Hill was listed as the 2006-2007 ABA leading scorer

http://www.2acesbasketball.com/events

As much as I respect Alex Hill, he wasn't the ABA's leading scorer. Plus, I find it odd that that my mission and vision for the team is still being used, especially the part about "maintaining integrity in all that we do."

I also called the Jam about being invited to the Just For Pros camp coming up. They didn't know anything about that. Oddly enough, that was cleared off the website today.

This type of stuff is exactly what I despise about the ABA --- TOTAL lack of professionalism and class.

Something else interesting...

The Aces are taking credit for success stories, but some of those players were't given any favors by the team either.

--- Ben Colon rarely ever played (I tried to get him back when I took over as Head Coach, but the bridge was already burned). No one is even sure he is playing in Peurto Rico - we just heard that a while back.

--- Victor Brown was released (for reasons I'll not disclose here).

--- I kicked Paul off the team because he was too lazy and expressed several vulgarities toward me after pulling him.

Hardly any tenacity being exemplified when you play so little that you don't make the stats page. And if you do, you average 0.0 PPG (see Ben Colon).

Brown, Pardue (spelled wrong on the website), and Barnett barely played!

As ELF would say to the fake Santa...

"You sit on a throne of lies!!!"

Good for him - we cut him (much to my dismay). His wing span is huge, and he could really get off of the floor. I remember one day in practice him and I went on a tear. He kept getting open, and I just kept feeding him the ball.

It's terrible, though, that someone would use someone else's success for promotion even though they didn't even think the guy was good enough. Do you know if Ben came back to the States?
