The Jaloza-Fratella law suit must be nearing an end because Looks like Jojo is pulling all stops to prevent the final decison from being enacted.

to the best of my understanding.....
JoJO fired old attorneys and got new ones to delay the decision and the new attorneys asked the courts to reopen the case because jojo has some new important evidence to prove that Jaloza shouldnt get ther ABA license...

and when Jaloza gets the ABA license maybe Doyle will buy it and end the missery for all involved and save professional minor league basketball.

Joe as you read this...tell Tom not to spin this some nutty way.

Who is this Jaloza again? a team owner? investor? I dont remember lol

And, COULD THIS BE IT FOR JOE? COULD WE SEE THIS LEAGUE TURN AROUND? WE'LL HAVE TO JUST WAIT AND SEE......

The ABA and Joe newman are not going anywhere. The Jazzola case was bogus and is in the process of being tossed out of court (so much for A1Sports inside info)

Remember when Doyle tryed to over toss the ABA last year and got beat up so bad in court by Joe Newman that he looked like he just called Mike Tyson a sissy ???

A1Sports was the one telling you back then that Doyle had a slam dunk case. Still want to get your info from A1Sports ? hahahahahaha

What is not shocking is that Doyle wants back into the ABA , the PBL is tanking and tanking hard , last report I had on them indicated about a 75% chance the PBL will never play a single game and a 99% chance it will fold in a month if it ever starts.

Is that the Titantic ?

No that would be the PBL sinking faster then the Titantic.

Now, I would like to know where you are getting your information on the PBL. The research I have done, and the people I have spoken with are saying something far different than what you are. The people I have spoken with are from both inside and outside of the league.

How do you know Mr. Doyle wants back in the ABA? When I spoke with him about a month or so ago, he gave no indication that was the case.

You have called out A1, now I would like to know where you are getting your information.

It took less than an hour for Joe or Tom ( ABA 06er )to answer my last post. which shows jojo or tomtom have to fire back quick to keep the truth from being told

Ahh yes..I know I hit a nerve because this info is correct.jojo and tomtom are scred to death.

and again so facts dont get in your way 06er....Doyle agreed to drop the law suit aganist the ABA, Joe didnt deliver any knock out punch,,nice try. Joe tried to get out of the setlement agreement they both signed bcause Joe wanted the Rochester owner to get him $900,000 to pay off a judgement.
Rochester owner said no way...so joe didnt want to sign or acknowlegde he signed a settlement agreement,,,,, want more Joe?or Tom?

Anyone who is interested in what is going on...just have to look up the case in Inidana

as FAR AS aba06er.....funny how Conniejoe is on my budy list when aba06er replies to a post !!

A1 sports started the talk of Doyle wanting back in the ABA , perhaps the quesitons on the should start with him.

Do we need to dig out the old posts of A1Sports saying Doyle beat Joe Newman and the ABA from last year ?

Doyle is still healing from that beating in court.
anyone want Doyle as a lawyer ? hahahahahhaa

A1Sports your nose is growing again.....

But, you failed to answer the question. How do you know the PBL will not play/last more than a week? Is this pure speculation, or do you have sources who are telling you this? The question does not have to do with A1, I am asking you to back up your statement.

What amazes me is that one of these two starts a thread like this, and then the other calls him (or her) out in the same thread, THEN starts a new thread calling them out in that one too. Maybe, Chris, you should give them their own sub forum so the can call each other out "Two Go In, But Only One Comes Out"

My sources come from the former ABA teams (minus rochester and maryland) who call the ABA office daily to keep up the good relationship with the ABA because......

They were promised the world and the PBL has delivered nothing.

You think we are the only ones who dont know any information on the 90% of the PBL teams who havent been announced , they no just about as little as we do.

The Jist I got from it all is the PBL came up with a marketing skeem that seemed good at the time , name as many "states" as possible say we have teams there then load up on National Sponsors who believe we have them lined up, then actually use that capital to go back and entise teams to take up in those states.

1. It was Fraud
2. It is back firing
3. The PBL is Dying fast (if not already dead)

Funny how your a reporter and people from the PBL dont tell reporters the truth because thats how they are.

I dont even need to back it up with names , christ just look at the website the pbl has www.pblpro.com

1. it has no teams , names, websites , sh** we dont even know who owns the teams hahahaha

2. they havent had a news update on the website since May 18th it is now almost the middle of July hahahahahahha

3. I will admit not even me thought the PBL would tank this bad

Fells
07-07-2007, 12:21 PM
Oh, I forgot to mention that Wilmington, Rochester, Maryland and Reading have functioning sites as well. Reading has something saying there is more coming soon, but at least it is something.

You point out what is wrong with the PBL, but you fail to mention there are teams who have sites up and running. You may be correct, teams may not tell me everything, but I do have other sources in those cities besides owners and other team personnel.

I still dont know who Jaloza is lol...

And this is like two elementary school kids fighting, they are complete opposites, its like an on going battle of one person saying yes and the other no

It will never end!!

And say what you want about 06er, but he does bring up a good point that we really dont know anything about any of the teams except the ex-ABA teams, if we dont know anything the general public doesnt either, i think if I was in charge of the PBL i would wait until 08-09, they have brains and good plans, but no one knows anything, and rushing things isnt good, they can be a pretty sucessful league if they wait and advertise and get their name out there, gather up sponsors and give time for expansion teams to get their name out there! I think the teams upset with the ABA like Roch and Maryland should have went to the CBA in the meantime

I think the PBL can do a good job and id like to see em do well, so like ive said before "we'll just have to wait and see"

Minnesotas last website update was from last years games in the ABA , they even failed to mention they are in the PBL or even put a PBL logo on the website.

Readings website is blank and always has been blank , failed to mention they are in the PBL or even put a PBL logo on the website.

Rochester and Maryland are the only two teams in the PBL with operating websites , thank god since they are suppose to be running this piece of crap.

ABA is in serious trouble under JoJo..lets wait and see what the judge decides how much of the ABA LICENSE GOES TO JALOZA.

remember the ruling is a "partial judgement" aganist ABA properties....

As far as the PBL is concerned...jojo and tomtom should worry less about them and more about what your new league will be called... I know you want to call it the Continental Premier Basketball D league Inc.

Read the washington times article...doyle makes it prety clear they have the funds and the right people to operate a league.

When me and the group i'm involved with is looking to put up a team somewhere we look for what is true and legit. Now with the NBDL thinking of putting a team in Puerto Rico in what is a very short time (Not going to state sources until everything is in final stages). All i see from the ABA now is propaganda to hurt and slander others.

Why would former ABA teams contact the ABA office on a daily basis ... to keep up a good relationship with the ABA?

If former teams had a positive and mutual beneficial relationship with the ABA; when they were in the league; they would have stayed in the league ...

Enough, already. This is getting ridiculous. 06er and A1- why don't both of you begin to act as adults and just start posting facts and even opinions, but do it tastefully. It was a little fun at the beginning reading this back and forth nonsense, but it has taken over and really does not do anything for anyone.

And I feel it is about time that both of you also come out of the closet. Everyone on the boards knows who everyone else is besides the two of you. I'm at the point that I don't even care if one is Joe and one is a PBL front office person. I barely bother to even read your threads after the first or second "ha, ha, -I told you so!" smart-aleck answer.

Yaeh, I know...I can skip it if I want to. But I actually use these boards for something constructive and to learn a thing or two that I can do to make my team better. So I follow them because I choose to. Guys- let's stop acting like complete a-holes and grow up.

Mike. Thanks for the email.

1. The Pit Bulls were suspended for several reasons, including the Tim Hardaway situation. Montreal paid $10,000 for Florida to show up with Tim, and he didn't show, nearly causing a riot. And that was the least of the Florida situations that we've had to deal with. The Pit Bulls did not submit a bill to the league; the Pit Bulls did not pay the arena or most of the expenses per our agreement (and that was not the least of the reasons either).

2. Fresno and Boston made the playoffs because Reggie worked his rear end off making games and playing the schedule and Ian took over a difficult situation in mid-season and stuck with it playing every game. We did it to be nice and to say thank you. Also, if you look at their games, they were competitive 75-80% of the time and improved.

3. Tim Ovie and San Diego is a great operation and you would do well being associated with them. We have over 60 teams next season and are confident we will have a very strong and viable league eliminating most of the problems of this season. Join them. As relates to suspending teams; I will continue to do so if they don't meet requirements. I did everything I could to support Sean; he simply did not do his part or meet his commitments and hurt the league - including the players and your Dad and you.

4. Teams do not fold. There hasn't been a suspended team that does not want to play. But they need to follow the rules. We have replaced the Gallup ownership already. And can replace any ownership that does not follow the rules, including Inglewood (and we are very close). Again, thanks. Good luck to you.

Subject: ABA Playoffs...

Joe

Thanks for the return email. I just have a couple more questions. There are rumors that the Pit Bulls were suspended because Tim Hardaway did not show up for the last two games of the season after much publicity and that the Pit Bulls submitted a bill to the League for the All-Star Game. Any truth to those rumors?

I was also curious as to how Fresno and Boston made the Playoffs with a 2-20 record for each team? There just seems to be some negatives heading into these playoffs that I wonder if the League can take much more of this.

The reason I am writing you again is that I have been approached to work with the Team in San Diego. Still do not know what the position will be but I have been consulting with them the past month or two. Will the League stabilize after the playoffs? Will there be better Ownership next year with teams keeping to the schedule that the League has set up? Will you suspend Teams in a timely manner so Teams can still secure their venues for the Season and not have to worry about Teams folding?

Thanks

Mike

and Hoops, man chill, just because your frustrated as an owner of two teams and lost money, thats not our problem, its not our problem you chose the ABA, were critics and we will voice our opinions on this league, ya know many of us are involved with ABA teams, we know its not easy, your the one coming on here looking like an idiot, were not idiots because we havent lost a $hitload of money with the ABA

If you want to voice your opinion on us or this board, why not do it in a professional manner, because quite frankily the way you responded, you are the one looking like an "idiot"

All. We need your cooperation to pull a rabbit out of a hat. Tijuana is one of the ABA's oldest and most willing teams. They have a major problem that only you can resolve. The league is asking, pleading, with you to help.

1. Beijing cannot play in Tijuana because of visa problems.

2. Beijing could play SoCal tonight instead of Inglewood.

3. Inglewood could then drive the short distance to Tijuana and play.

They are expecting 2500 people tonight in Tijuana. It is a MUST game. Only you can help.

Los Angeles can't play as they are on their way back from Gallup, OC is on a flight to Hawaii.

The three of you can make this happen - and it is important. Tijuana will pay for the travel there.

Sean, George, Gary. Please work this out. Please. Very important. And get back to me. Thank you.

Nobody has accused me of being Joe Newman. A simple read through any number of threads here would confirm that fact.

You can go through the postings here and see the relationship most of the anti-Joe group have had with the ABA or its erstwhile CEO. But, only a small number of 'pro-Joe' posters (cglue, Corning, a couple others) have ever come out and stated on the record their relationship with the ABA.

Makes you wonder why they are reluctant to do so... They could just copy and paste their same answer for their multiple login names.
