Greensboro at Fayetteville (Season Finale)

Well, it's been a long time since way back in the early spring but I guess it finally comes down to the last semi-official game of the soon to be defunct NIFL.

G'boro fans don't have much left to look forward too but a little pride, just as the players are also hoping to go out on a winning note. The Revs come into the game having lost to the Guard for the third time and will more than likely will see the same result this week, if they even show up. Combined winning margin has been by about 5 TD's or so in each game for the Guard. Hope the G'boro fans do come down and enjoy the game and show that they are true fans by supporting the team.

He DOES NOT like the NIFL ONE BIT...He has said it was a mistake for him not to leave last year...But he has learned, and he thanks God that it's his last game in the NIFL...

I think Fayetteville vs. Greensboro will continue into the AIFA next year...

revfan, there has been all different grades of rumors floating since SD news put out what they did on the 7th. One has it that G'boro is going to play SD in the NIFL final or playoffs. It makes since seeing how those two team are still in the league and the Cavs and Guard are out, I guess. Good luck to you and I hope things work out in G'boro. They might be heading West for another game, who knows.

We're screwed if they expect us to travel more than 4 county's to the west! I don't think that's going to happen and we probably don't deserve to play any more just because are the only ones left, but as a fan this thing is addicting sometimes.
