Just trying to research this if anyone knows of it.

Whom has had the largest ABA player contract in it's history? And not we are not including the ABA of the 60's and 70's i'm talking about the Joe ABA.

I know whats the lowest in the ABA: Thats Zero especially for the players of the Indiana Legends

My guess would be Dennis Rodman, who made $15,000 per road game plus travel and accomodations (for any team who wanted him to show up) when he played for Tijuana a couple years ago.

As far as for any "real" ABA players, the salaries (at least those teams that did pay their players) has gone down dramatically from when the ABA started in 2000. I think some players had six-figure contracts back then. Last season, Hollywood had a couple guys making pretty good money (the actual figure slips my mind) until things fell apart down there.

I did find out that some of the hollywood guys were getting paid 2500 per week and yes we are talking about real ABA players and not the rodmonian. He was more of a side show for the TJ team since he showed up only when they needed him in general.

Im trying to find out in general from the minor leagues here because in Puerto Rico the BSN has 2500 weekly limit on foreign players whom are restricted foreign players(Examples: Robert Watson, Bobby Brannen, Matt Freije). meaning less than 3 years in the league after 3 years it goes up to 5000 per week but with Marcus Fizer hes broken the bank at 10k per week and this doesn't include meal monies, car rental the condo thats being rented for him. Robert Traylor is making 5k a week here. Robert Lazor was making 3200 per week before he had to leave due to a nagging ankle injury and a wedding you can also say he had to get to Korea where their training camp starts in 3 weeks.

I actually paid money to play. Most of the Aces did - we all had to drive ourselves to the games, cover most of the food, etc. When I took over as coach, I put a lot of my own money in to help offset some of those costs for the guys, but it's hard to offset cost when you're paying the whole thing out of your pocket.

The lowest official salary not ones that just weren't paid is $0. Kerry Lyons and I believe a couple other players on the Frost Heaves signed for nothing.

thats why the ABA is a rec-league you pay to play or you play for nothing.

The frost heaves players that signed for nothing was for love of the game and of their community also they have jobs . they were doing it for love

thats true

but basically i should rephrase as this: Signed Contracts that were tendered (Paid in full or player was making X amount of dollars per week or month and was getting paid) and who was paid the most in the history of the ABA.

Well according to the SEC report someone named Joe Newman makes 250k a year, and I'm fairly confident thats been paid on time.
