Foul Balls

This season, my buddies and I have been collecting as many foul balls as possible at Skylands Park where the Sussex Skyhawks play. Well, as we were jogging fast for a ball that lined into a wall, one of the staff members told us to stop running for the ball even though there were no places in front of us that were obstacles and there were no people in our way either.

Another time my buddy was paying for a hotdog when a ball shot down from over the stadium and onto another side of a fence. He flew to the 6 foot fence, climbed it slowly, and then descended to the other side. The ball was about a few paces away...until a staff member comes and tells him to:
"Get the heck out of there or I'll get the security, and I'll kick you right out of the stadium. I've told you about 5 times yesterday not to do that!!!"
Meanwhile, my buddy wasn't even at the freaking stadium yesterday!
The staff member hops the fence, and drops the baseball into his pocket.


To me, this is very annoying. I mean come on, have you ever heard of a person getting thrown out of a stadium to try and get a foul ball?

what happened in 1930, and has anyone ever heard of a kid running for a foul ball and getting kicked out of the stadium, i sure havent, i mean holy crap, who walks for a foul ball, thats just ridiculous.

In 1930, long after baseball had decided to let fans keep foul balls and home runs, a fan and yankee stadium was beaten by stewards in in order to retrieve a ball.

Well, my buddies and I are just running for a foul ball! That was in the 1930's. What happened to my friend is now.

After that game we went running for more foul balls, and the guy didn't yell at us. He was busy handing out hotdogs, but that goes to show that this guy was probably just bored.

this is agianst the rules of getting a foulball, i cannot get why we cant run, i have never heard anyone say, o ya i walked to get that ball, they say, dude i had ot run to get that ball,i have been going to before, the cardinals, and now the skyhawks for since i can remember, this is the first year i have ever got yelled at, this is ridiculous!!!!
