Anyone know what kind of crowds were at Warner Pacific College to watch the IBL West playoffs? Hopefully it was attended well. Salem, Portland, Santa Barbara and Everett are all very good teams and fun to watch.

First day was about 60-100 people for the games

Only 60-100 people? Thats pathetic. Santa Barbara, Portland, Salem, Everett were all very good teams.
I am a big IBL supporter but the league needs to do a much better job marketing the league and it's teams.
With the USBL and WBA on their last legs the time is now for the IBL to step up and become THE spring/summer league.

no league marketing, and a gym that's smaller than my middle school gym. I think it was a bad decision to move the finals to the west coast when the east coast is drawing so many fans and has a great support group. The east will see the discrepancy of the west's following and the fact that the IBL is 95% unknown will be exploited.

Last year when there was only one finals series in Elkhart, no West teams played. It makes sense to have a west champion and an east champion and then the two teams play for the IBL champion, although the format changed a couple of times before being finalized. The decision to go from a 3 game series to one game was a real disappointment to Elkhart fans.

It's too bad they couldn't have the all-star game at the east/west game rather than having only the west all-stars play there. Maybe they thought the all-star game would help bring in more fans.
