Got a call from a friend of a friend.....

He works for the scheduling company that does the NHL schedule and other pro leagues. PBL signed a contract for this company to do the PBL schedule
for the next 5 years.

Guess the aba cant afford 10k to do it right.......

Are you referring to printing the schedules or a consultant to actually map out all the team's home and away dates?

Again, you're praising the PBL...

Well, put your money where your mouth is and JOIN ALREADY!

That was a question, not a praise.

Where praise is warranted, it will be delivered. The way they have started out, the PBL does seem to have things in order. And that is a good thing. Minor league basketball needs to improve as a whole, and if the PBL does it in such a way to succeed, it will help in a large way.

I will say it again:

If the Strong Island Sound feel that the PBL is minor league basketball's next big thing, it would only make sense for them to join!

Don't know why you're avoiding the question...

i think what the question is that. is it a company that compiles and creates the schedules or just oversees and inputs them?

Give it a rest Burmeister.

There was no question to avoid. You didn't ask a question. Anyway, he can't move the team BECAUSE HE DOESN'T OWN IT!

I have no reason to avoid any questions. I suppose that you are mistakenly believing that I am the owner of the team. I am only their Director of Media Relations, therefore, have no say what league they participate in.

Joe is one of the more standup guys in the league, and in sports as a whole. He didn't avoid a question from you, and he has never avoided one on here.

Oops...Sorry.

Maybe the media guy is looking at the PBL, but the owner wants them to stay ABA.

I understand where you're coming from. Let's just move on.

No problem. I actually follow more or less every team in all the leagues- not just basketball. Anything to assist me in my jobs. You can never have too much information.

If the PBL is doing something that appears to be in the right direction, then all the other leagues, not just the ABA, should take note.

(Fells- Thanks for the kind words)
