Your in Chicago, she's in Denver. You meet up online, chat for awhile, have a few laughs, trade pictures and the excitment is building. Your obsessed with each other. The big day is coming when you will finally meet. Your both turned on, expecting a torrid love affair with the woman of your dreams. You may actually meet once. $700 for a flight, expenses for a rental car, possibly a hotel room. After laying eyes on her, she's only basically better than nothing. The photos she sent you were misleading. She's way heavier than her pictures. She's not as attractive as you hoped for. It's a pain in the ass to travel back and forth, and she's not really worth it. She misrepresented herself, and you probably lied about yourself as well. The spark quickly fizzled, and its been a huge waste of time and money and effort. She has 4 kids when you thought she had 1, she earns $18,000 a year when she told you $60,000. It took her 6 years to get out of high school, when she said she had a degree. She drives a Yugo Sport Wagon when she said she had a new Cadillac.
She is Joe Newman, and ABA owners are the man.
Who tricked whom? Whom is to blame? Who was the chump? After all, you spent money to initiate this relationship, it cost the woman nothing. You freely paid to get disappointed. You were left with nothing. Man/woman relationship or ABA/owner relationship?
