Is it just me or does this team seem, well..."too good" for the ABA?

Instead of holding the mayo, the Mayo Center ought to hold them.

Looks like this might be a well run franchise,so you know one year of the ABA should be enough for them. This time next year they will realize their mistake and jump to the PBL or CBA at which time Joe will be complaining that (A) the other league stole this team from us. (B) We kicked them out of the ABA for failing to meet league standard (C) We have replaced them with a better, more stable group that will put a new team in Rochester playing at a local high school, horse barn or abandoned warehouse. (D) We will get the right people running a team in Rochester and I don't care how many $10,000 checks I have to cash to do it.

I think this team is going to be well-run and very professional, the website is very nice

They can't be that well run. They are joining the ABA. They listened to Joe and they are still joining the ABA. It doesn't matter how pretty the website when the fans stop showing up after the first canceled game because the other team folded.

By that logic Rochester and Vermont are poorly run too.

Vermont may not be run poorly, but the ownership is indeed pretty stupid to stick with the ABA. That is a fact.

Alex Wolff must be stupid to pay for a cracker jack box trophy and not get refunded back. What kind of league is this? forgot its not a league its a sham

Where can he go? The basketball court has to be regulation size.
The ABA is perfect for the Heaves except for the fact that the league is a fraud and the Heaves are not.
What's the answer??

You know, if (and that is a huge IF) Burlington's Fairgrounds Arena is still gonna be built, I think the Heaves would go ahead and move there!
Of course, they were thinking ECHL hockey (It's a no-brainer AHL would be a better fit for Vermont, maybe the dormant Edmonton Roadrunners can move there?)

The Thing is, the future of the Heaves is not in Burlington. They draw half the amount as they do in Barre there. If a arena were built in BArre, than we can start talking.
