The IWFL does not have any top ten matchups this weekend but the NWFA has two of them. It's also the 1st round of the playoffs for the NWFA.
#8 Columbus Comets (6-2) at #9 Pensacola Power (7-1)
Columbus better bring the Gatorade and lots of it for this one because it will be nice and hot.
Expect a close game with the Power pulling ahead for good at the start of the 4th quarter and winning this Heat Bowl.

#5 Phoenix Prowlers (8-0) at #2 St. Louis Slam (7-1)
The league expanded the playoffs to 14 teams from 12 unexpectedly a few weeks ago when the Prowlers urged their fellow league members to let them in with their ability to fund themselves as a road-only team in the playoffs.
St. Louis will pummel this team and it won't be funny.
St. Louis 52, Phoenix 0...and it won't seem even this close.
