Is there any new information on the league the site is
not reporting any?

Why not ask moose Louis about that?

I did a report on that league on my website a few months back. Word was that it was a caucasians-only league. Meaning blacks, hispanics, asians and any race other than white was banned from the AABA. Sad, sad, sad, which is why Moose was my Lahey of the Month in May!

I think Moose Lewis admitted the AABL all-Caucausian league was a farce. From what I can gather, the AABA is different than the AABL. Apparently, and I am guessing at this, the AABA and the GBA are different leagues and that one of the leagues will play a spring/summer schedule (GBA) and another will play a fall/winter schedule (AABA).

When the GBA first started as the ABA (American Basketball Alliance, "The Deuce"), it proposed the ABA season as a fall/winter season and its related IBU (International Basketball Union) as a spring/summer league. The whole thing was reorganized into the Global Basketball Alliance, which then switched to a spring/summer schedule and only played a handful of games in its inaugural 2002 season. The GBA has not been able to restart league play.
