There's 5 games in the top ten in the IWFL and NWFA leagues this weekend.
IWFL
#5 New York Sharks (4-1) at #1 D.C. Divas (5-0)
DC won the first meeting this year 20-14, in New York on May 5th. I don't expect DC to lose at all this year.
#10 Kansas City Storm (4-1) at #4 Detroit Demolition (5-1)
First meeting this season between these two teams. Detroit at home should take control and win by at least 30. The records are deceiving and this one will be over by halftime although it is worth seeing Detroit put a team away easily.
#3 Atlanta Xplosion (5-0) at #7 Orlando Mayhem (5-1)
Atlanta won the prior matchup this year 14-7, in Atlanta on May 19th. Pick the Mayhem to win at home in an upset. Atlanta is due for a loss. The ladies in Orlando are cute too.
NWFA (last weekend of regular season)
#7 Cleveland Fusion (5-2) at #10 West Michigan Mayhem (6-1)
Cleveland won the first meeting 34-6, in Cleveland on May 5th. This one won't be close. Cleveland will do it again and will have some momentum going into the playoffs.
#1 Oklahoma City Lightning (7-0) at #5 St. Louis Slam (6-1)
The Lightning won 21-6, in Oklahoma on April 28th the first time these two teams met. St. Louis wants a higher seed for the playoffs to host a game beyond the first round. This one will be a close one. Both teams need to win to stay home as often as possible for the playoffs.
Our babe of the week also comes from the St. Louis Slam:
