A buddy mailed up to me a nice insert from the Yuma newspaper that had some Scorpions information. My question is this,
The 27-and-under club article says that there are no longer rookie, experienced and veteran classifications. But on the 2nd page, where it has the players, I see several that are older than 27. Calderon is 30, Merricks is 28, Matos is 32 and some of the pitchers are 28 or their age is not given.
Were these players signed BEFORE the age thing went into effect. The players playing now that are older than 27, will they not be allowed to play next season?
