Atlanta, Georgia - Minor league basketball through out the country has been in a quagmire the past year. The World Basketball Association (WBA) has suffered through its share of difficulties this season. Despite enduring great trials this spring, along with having to shorten the regular season, the WBA will move ahead with plans to crown a 2007 Champion.

Lilburn, GA - Bobby Brown (6'6''-F-79, college: Kennesaw St.) poured in 29 points, as he helped his Mayas-USA team put a stamp on the 2007 WBA Championship, by beating Ravia 114-104 on Friday night at Berkmar High School.
Mayas-USA led by as many as 21 mid-way through the second quarter, before Ravia began a methodical comeback, finally taking its first lead late in the third quarter at 75-73. It would prove to be Ravia's only lead of the game, as Mayas-USA would re-take the lead and hang on.
Joe Hamilton (6'6''-F-79) turned in a mammoth performance for Ravia with 25 points, 16 rebounds and 3 blocks. Robert Cox (6'5''-G/F-83) also downed 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Chris Jackson (6'2''-G-82) had 20 points and six assists, while Evan Brock got 13 points and nine rebounds. Golden Ingle also contributed eight points and eight assists.
Kareem Grant (6'6''-F/G-82) had 26 points and 11 rebounds, While Reo Logan chalked up 22. MaJic Dorsey (6'1''-G-81) of Mayas-USA had a balanced game with 18 points and 10 assists and Edmund Saunder only tallied nine points, but snatched 15 rebounds and doled out an impressive eight assists, coming close to a triple-double.
After averaging 29 ppg during the two-games, Bobby Brown was selection as the Championship Series Most Outstanding Player.
