Jean Granados had a no-hitter through 5 innings, giving Anderson its first shut out win of the season. The Joes won their third game of the season 5-0 against the Juice. Granados struck out eight batters and only gave up two hits before leaving the game after seven innnings.
The Joes scored four runs early against Bradenton's ace pitcher, and added one more run in the bottom of the eighth inning to win their second game out of the last three.
Hopefully Anderson will get to keep Granados for a few more games. rumor has it that two "organized" teams are looking at him. He has pitched really well in his last two outings, after moving from the bullpen to a starting role.

I was looking at the stats when they came out, ;), and another thing caught my eye; The Joe's haven't got a bad staff, their Team ERA is influenced by two or three Horrendous performances. Take those out and look again.

Vern Sterry, (Music's wp from last night) said it best; everyone's still getting warmed up, things will change over the course of the season.

Ten days (at most) for "Spring training"; the second half of the season will be very interesting.

Yeah, considering that the first 12 games of the season were against SOUTH GEORGIA and AIKEN - it could be worse.
I hate to mention the whipping that your MACON team put on us
(17 runs:eek: )

A couple of pretty good pitchers are starting to show up. Jean Granados and Kevin Culpepper are doing pretty well.
The funny thing is - Anderson Memorial is SUPPOSED to be a "pitchers park".
Lot's of room in the outfield. I think it's almost 420 to center field.
