Representatives of the Rockford Lightning organization have been showing-up to a lot of Steelheads games lately getting a feel for the USBL. I hope they get the financing this time around. A continuation of the Rockford/Gary rivalry will boost attendance for Gary for sure.

I'll take back everything I've said about Chris Daleo if they can close the deal...well...he still should have sent Ronnie Fields packing. 8)

That would be great for the league. After 9 eastern teams failing in recent years, the USBL should just admit that it's business model simply doesn't work there and evolve into a midwest league.

Forget the east and southeast. Keep travel costs down and focus on the mid to smaller cities in the midwest.
