Quincy Carter to CFL

What team in the CFL could use Quincy, with his arm strenth and running ability on such a large field. Should be a great fit for that league.

What team in the CFL could use Quincy, with his arm strenth and running ability on such a large field. Should be a great fit for that league.

He proved last year (or the year before I forget which) with Alouettes that he was not suited for the Canadian game. Seems to me he didn't even make it out of training camp.

The guy I am somewhat interested to see how he does this season is Akili Smith in Calgary. I had the guy many years ago in an NCAA fantasy draft and thought he was a talented QB. I plan to head to at least one Stamps-Riders game this season if he sticks it out.

I got to enjoy Akili a few times as a Duck.

The scouting report I saw was rather interesting. The video backed it up. Oregon tended to run passing plays to one side of the field while he was QB. Apparently, vision and/or looking off was an issue.

The arm strength and mobility were there in spades.

How Akili handles a wide Canadian field is an open question.
