Jamario Moon should have stayed in Albany. The Patroons are a much better team then the Steelheads and they would have been even better if Moon stayed around. We will be in first place by the end of the week. The Dodge City Legend are gonna get run over and the Brooklyn Kings are no match! Moon will most likely be back for the CBA Patroons.

All of this may be true (except for the parts about Moon, the Steelheads, Dodge City, and Brooklyn), but I have a question. Are the numbers still peeling-off of the Albany uniforms?

Ok Ken, check the standings now and then check them again at the end of the week. You guys all hate on the Patroons becuase of the Richardson scandal, but guess what that is done and over with. This team is for real!

Funny guy. You are aware that Albany just beat Dodge City twice in a row, and have taken nearly every game against the Kings... plus two Steelheads wins at the Armory. Albany's clicking on all cylinders, and the last thing I heard from the Gary newspapers is that the coach is having trouble motivating his star players.

Now let's see what happens at the Tournament.

...is 1. We're in first place, and are the only team with a shot to beat every team in the USBL this season.

I've always believed that the Patroons are the best team on Washington Avenue.

See above.

The Patroons are in first place? I'm having a little problem following the standings, so I don't know. The Steelheads aren't in first--THAT I do know! All this means is that there is parity in the league right now. However, the Steelheads WERE playing poorly before Coach Levingston's motivational comments. Much better afterwards. Gary is still in need of another wide body rebounder though.

...has Albany in first place at 14-6, and Dodge City in second at 10-4 a game behind, though DC has a better winning percentage.

The Patroons got lucky in their two wins over Dodge City (my understanding was that Tuesday's one-point win included a game-ending three-quarter court shot), and Ronald Ross had 37 last night, including a runner at the buzzer in regulation off an offensive rebound to tie the score. DC was ahead most of the game.

They didint get lucky at all, they have patience and skill. The Game ending three-quater court shot was made by Dodge City to make thier score 89, the Patroons already had the game in the bag with 90 points. And that was not luck last night, Ronald Ross took over the game in the second half. The Patroons gave up an eight point lead in the final five minutes and came back to force overtime. Most of the overtime was controlled by the Patroons.
