Consider this my personal invitation for you to come to Mallonn's Grille and Bar for an episode of The endZone.
You seem to think you understand how to run a league better than anyone else. And if that's the case, feel free to come to the show and we can debate any idea you have.
You've made a significant amounts of posts talking about how this league needs to listen to you about how the game system works or about the talent parity. If you think you know how to do it better than the people running the league, then come to show.
I invite you to come to the show and we'll discuss anything you like. I'll even go back to doing a two-hour show to let you talk about how "we need to fix our game system."
I know that you live within a reasonable distance from Canton, and we'll be glad to work something out with you on how to get here.
Consider this my personal invitation. Stop hiding out on the message board and show your face at Mallonn's. I'll be glad to discuss anything about this league with you.
You can call the league office at 330-649-9950 to work out the details.

Do you guys see any other league personnel getting on messageboards and lashing back at fans? I don't see it in legitimate leagues like the AFL, AF2, AIFA, UIF, IFL, or WIFL. You guys need to concentrate on how to paint a pretty picture of a league where games are decided by 30+ points on a regular basis. You guys should also be finding guys to play for Steubenville. I see they had 13 replacement players for an 86-0 loss.
Problems in this league need fixed. Work on that before you get on here and talk.

You have replacement teams getting thumped, your defending champion is about to
move out of town because of poor attendance and your stats are 2 weeks behind.
And one of your top priorities is dealing with a message board annoyance.
Gotta love the direction the CIFL is heading with this leadership...

I'm not making a challenge or anything, just extending a personal invitation.
He says our system is screwed up and I'm giving him his chance to discuss it, that's all.
We're not ignoring other things, like all of you seem to think we are.
If ChampionofSteel thinks he knows how to run this league better than us, I'm giving his opportunity to tell us how.
He's the one that put up a post saying that we can't do it right, so we need to listen to him and only him. Well, here's his opportunity to tell everyone how to run a league.

it's Monday morning. Say I want to know what happened in the CIFL Saturday. I go on your web site and I get the scores -- which is cool -- and I can download archived audiocasts --again, very cool -- but there are no game recaps or stats from the weekend. The Communications Department has the time to call out ChampionOfSteel on a message board, but doesn't have the time to perform the primarily function of a league communications professional, which is to compile the on-the-field accomplishments of your players and teams.
You're better than this. That's all I've got.

Who cares what COS thinks? Will your show be any better for having him on? For that matter, how does having a critic of the league appear on the league's own show help the league? Yes, this is a challenge, and if it was issued to anyone whose opinion really mattered, it might make sense if done correctly.
I'm not sure what would be accomplished by him accepting the invitation except for you providing him the opportunity to feed his massive ego. Come on, Kevin and Eric, the CIFL is a professional league. Members of the league need to act like professionals. Skins cannot be this thin.

I guess I am part of the minority, but I think it's pretty cool that Kevin & Eric would allow some "fan" to go on the radio show and debate.
It's funny, if they come on the message boards and allow people to debate then they are considered not doing their jobs and not professional, but if they keep quiet and let things become outdated then they are considered not doing their jobs and unprofessional. My question is, what league is doing it right then?

When CoS shows up for the show, Kevin could get on all fours behind him, then Eric could push him over. That will teach him.
.....Come on guys, this "invitation" has clown shoes writen all over it. It won't help anything.

Actually, this sounds like those T-Mobile commercials.
Honestly, Kevin, what are you going to do when you drag COS into the van? Pinch his arm?
You should focus on your league. And COS, frankly, should go get himself hired in a league office so he can prove that he knows as much as he thinks he does. I hear the NIFL may have some league-office vacancies in the near future... :)

To be sure. Take care of what is important first before all the silly stuff. Then use message boards to augment the efforts of your league. I use the boards to promote upcoming webcasts and my latest book "Ervin Bryson's Greatest Playoff Coaching Victories"
That was a joke, BTW.

Penalty on Mr. Ryan for reusing material. That was funny when you broke that book joke out with the other Dan.

Hey, I've seen Ron White use the "naked guy eating cheetos" routine half a dozen times...you tweak and recycle and it is still funny.

So, let me get this straight:
CoS is so awful that he is banned from the CIFL message board, but gets invited to be on their radio show.
Teams folding, teams moving, and blowouts against replacement teams. And this is their solution?
daytonadan

And no recaps from the weekend on the CIFL web page.

I need to come to the boards more often.
Note to Jeff S. This is NOT how a media guy should ever talk to a fan of the game or anyone who has something negative to say about the league.
Note to Dan Ryan. Did you ever know you're my hero?
Note to Kevin J Keller. I'm guessing if you need some advice on how to properly work the media and get some good PR out there about the CIFL you could always ask Josh Stein. He seemed to do a darn good job of it. Perception is EVERYTHING when it comes to indoor football. Granted it really doesn't matter what CoS has to say...but by all means don't throw out the "whip em out and measure em' " card. You'll lose every time...even if you're right.
Note to Paul. Does there ever come a point when you look at all these message board posts and ask yourself, "Why did I want to have a message board?" I know I ask myself that on a weekly basis. :)

He does it so I can have a chance to win a new Ipod or Xbox... seems like I win one or two of them every day on this site....

I've won my fair share too, Jamie. But they never arrive. Maybe they get lost in the mail.

When I first saw the beginning title of Kevin's post, I thought I was being invited to someone's graduation party -- personal invitation. I was hoping to see some college coeds with those dark brown suntans hanging around beer kegs, pizza, loud rock music blaring over some mega speakers, with maybe the cops paying the house a visit later in the evening...oh well.
Today is June 4 and we still do not have the latest EndZone programs to listen to since April 26th on SportsJuice's website.
I was also informed the program was reduced to 1 hour instead of 2 hours long. Did my suggestion have anything to do with that? I got no response.
What am I doing wrong?

Other than being annoying? Good question....
