Tim Bascom of The Juice is drafted by The Orioles in the 4th round.

Apparently he was picked last year too and didn't sign. He might still stay in Bradenton for a while. I think he'll sign this time though.

Sorta wierd feeling, sad that he's leaving The Music, but pleased (and a little proud) that he's going on to affiliated ball.

What happened to Renfroe?

I see that he was dropped by the Music. Is this so that he can try to hook up with an affiliated team as a free agent? I don't think he got drafted.:eek:

I was wondering the same thing. It was a bit of a surprise that he got released.:confused:

I know from previous statements that he was fully expecting to get taken in the draft, so perhaps he's looking at free agency somewhere.:confused:

Why hasn't Thompson or Renfroe been replaced on The Music's roster? As far as I can tell the Music are on the road with 10 position Players on the roster.

This, after they virtually ran out of players on the last road trip due to injuries etc.

The Peanuts announced today that Jon Zeringue has been signed by Oakland's "high A" team in Stockton California.

Being new to Indy ball ,it is odd to see teams lose players to the draft.
Most A or AA teams expect to pick up a few prospects after the draft.

It sure is going to take a lot of getting used to, Mr Ed. You start hearing about a player, and he might become a fan favorite because he's playing so well; then he leaves ............ because he's playing so well!:confused:

It's partly the reason they're all here though, it's good for the player and the league, it doesn't stop it feeling starnge though.
