With all the talk about USBL teams attendance dropping, then the league shoud look into getting a Chicago franchise, it would go over big here. You Already have the steelheads and the Lightning of the CBA here that has created a good solid fan base for minor league basketball, you have a hugh population of people to draw from, and plenty of great venues to play in.

How about it USBL?

You already have the Bulls, how many minor league basketball teams do you need?

Maybe they should leave the NBA and join the USBL. :D

Considering who the Bulls options of drafting this year, I'm not even sure they would win in the USBL. :(

I certainly can't defend the futility of the Bulls, but tell me Hac, when will the Kansas Cagers ever win a road game again?

Maybe they could play the Bulls in Chicago!!

Push the start of the USBL season forward to the last week of May, scrap the indoor gyms, and play in minor league baseball parks. See my summer hang-out below:

Find an all-weather basketball surface to place in front of the third base dugout, schedule games when the baseball team is on the road, and play double-header basketball games in the event of basketball rainouts.

Casual fans like myself have cabin fever from being indoors all winter. Speaking for myself, I'm totally into the "tennis, rollerblading, then sitting outdoors in the right field cafe going vegetarian (steamed broccoli and cold beer--gas and guzzling?)" summertime mode of existence. Ahhhh, the life! If most fans are like me, then they are not ready to go back indoors for their entertainment.

Finding Nemo is playing on the left centerfield video scoreboard after Saturday's baseball game. Guess where I'll be?

Road game? I'm to the point of wondering when they'll win another game, home or away.

They have shown nothing on this road trip except a propensity to turn the ball over. Nate Johnson is hurt and might not be back. If that's true, kiss the season goodbye.

And because I'm a frustrated fan right now, I'll nitpick the wins they do have. Nine of the 12 are at home, but two came against St. Louis (worst coached team in league), two against Oklahoma (before it added some players) and one against Brevard (worst team in league).

They do have two home wins against Cedar Rapids, which is impressive.

They will have their hands full at Florence tonight and they should win Brevard tomorrow. Then it's home for Pennsylvania and Brookyn.

Somebody send the Cagerz a point guard and a big man. Please. Pretty please!
