The whole release has me scratching my head (and it isn't just dandruff this time), but that one quote struck me.
I'm sure the plan was, we put in these teams, and then find people to buy and operate them, and CG and CS make lots of money. It backfired completely and spectacularly.
CG claims he's got lots and lots of backers to come in for next year, and even more that he didn't have a personal relationship with. That's like the used car salesman or the real estate agent saying, "we have another offer on this," just to pressure the sale.
CG and CS are simply desperate to keep this thing afloat and will do anything or say anything. Newspaper writers are the least of their problems.
If these two have any shred of intergrity left, it's time for them to walk away.
