Seeing as the SCL doesn't find it necessary to post standings on the site, let's keep track of them here.
Today's
Macon 4-0
South Georgia 4-0
Aiken 2-2
Anderson 1-3
Bradenton 1-3

OK, I'll try to keep it up. I might miss a day or two but it's better than nothing (or the SCL league site right now!)

Great Job. You always beat me to it as I don't usually log on until 5 or 6 pm. I'd start up a site and list standings if you don't want to do it, but as of now great job.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate that. :p
I'm enjoying it right now; I have a funky work schedule that puts me in front of a computer most nights:rolleyes: But I'll be going back to a regular schedule here in a couple of weeks, we'll see how it goes.
Thanks again.

Looks like the class of the league thus far are the Peanuts and 'Hounds. Will we all be battling for a distant third?
Thanks, BEETM for the standings. I'm surprised the SCL is not keeping up to date with the records. (Like the Music's 17 run game last night - a record) Everything else seems to be top notch. Anderson Memorial Stadium never looked so good.
Joes vs. Music tonight for the series win... GO JOES!

Yeah, I think it's waay too early to call it a two-horse race. We're not even a quarter through yet right? There's time enough for anybody to turn it around, especially after "The Big boys" come calling for more of our players.
I'm disappointed in the league too, it looks like they got a pro to design all their sites before the season, and now they aren't updating the stats/standings. :(
Good luck tonight, I hope the rain holds off.

Hi SCL Fans,
Howesportsdata keeps all the indy league standings and stats updated daily. I'm sure the SCL is pretty overwhelmed with all the details of a launch year across six teams now that they are into the season, but they will probably get the howesportsdata info linked to their website soon as they do run a high quality operation. In the meantime here's the site for the South Coast League:

Quick first impressions;
Aiken - Sluggers!
Peanuts - Speed and aggression.
Both have got great pitching.

GBL Commish,
You made my day!
BEETM, you're on the money with your first impressions.
The week of May 21 when the Peanuts came to Anderson, they stole about eight bases in a single game! At the time they had about 26 stolen bases in only the second week of competition. They led the league of course. The second place team had only about four stolen bases at the time!
The sluggers at Aiken have left their marks in Anderson as well. You can see that the two pitchers with the most HRs hit on them are in ANDERSON!
Our bright spot is Kevin Culpepper, from Toccoa, Georgia. (17 Ks!) And he started out the season in the bullpen!
