Professional baseball is finally back to Charlotte County.. went to my first SCL game last night (5/20/07, Peanuts vs. Redfish), very good experiance. Food was good and the stadium is in great shape. We lost 4-1, but my experiance was better because one of the Peanuts outfielders tossed me a ball he caught when he was coming in after the inning.. :D

I am also excited about the Redfish especially after the addition of Cecil Fielder as the new head coach. The Redfish are on a win streak and mybe the first sweep of the year if they can win tonight. I am happy so happy we have baseball back.

I really like Earl Smith as a pitcher. He has had two great outings his last two starts and I think he will emerge as the #1 starter on the team. He has some good stuff from what I have seen

I noticed the REDFISH picked up Aaron Easton after the JOES released him. I think he will do well. He has struggled in Anderson after doing an excellent job on opening night. I think his ERA had gotten up to 6-point-something.
But I saw him pitch against AIKEN on opening night and he had some good stuff. He is a tall guy, with a good fastball, and what looked like a slider. He struck out quite a few that night.
We'll find out tonight, because I see that he is starting tonight's game for the 'FISH.
Good Luck Aaron - keep throwin' the HEAT!

He had alot of trouble early. I was listening on the radio and it was 7-0 Aiken in the 5th I believe.

Cecil Fielder got ejected arguing a call last night. His first ever ejection as a manager!
