A few years ago, when they looked like a model franchise?
Either they were doing it with smoke and mirrors and it wasn't what it seemed, the novelty wore off pretty quickly, or the guys who figured out how to do it the first year died and took the secret recipe with them.
So now they're slashing ticket prices (http://www.mcall.com/sports/all-valleydawgsmay22,0,6439945.story?coll=all-sports-hed) in hopes that will do the trick. As if price point is the main issue.
EVERYTHING MUST GO! WE'RE CRAAAAAZY!

The guy from the first year became the commissioner of the NLL!

well the main reason the dawgs arent drawing well is that they play in a crapy high school gym that was a good 20 minutes from where they use to play. I live in the suburbs of philly and could get to a game in 35 minutes last year this year it takes almost an hour!

I have a few different reasons why I think it's hard for this league to draw fans. #1.Time of the season. It's too hard to ask people to set inside for a few hours when they have suffered from cabin fever all winter long. It's stays lighter longer and too much to do. #2. This seems to be a novalty league as players come and go as they please. If they are traded and they don't want to go,they pitch a fit and the deal is nixed. To me that is bull$h!t.Adirondack Signed Sanfransico 49'ers Owens and the people came from all over and we averaged over 2,000 per game.Last year we were lucky to have 100 people in real gates receipts. I don't understand why it seems like half the time the players seem board and pay very little attention to the game while on the bench. That was always very obvious and a turn off.

I always did wonder why the Valley Dawgs didn't attempt to move their home games to Stabler Arena in Bethlehem. The High School gym set up just doesn't do it for most.

That is actually where they used to play and it would draw a lot better and have students from lehigh sattending some games also plus its pretty low class to have a team in a old high school gym sort of like half of the ABA teams
