*-My favorite team. Very cute players too! These ladies could be cheerleaders as well and yet they are winning against the "butch" teams!

Dosen't refering to other teams as "butch" teams disparage the whole of women's football . I fight against this stigma every time i try to recurit female athletes whom othrewise may be intrested in playing. Not trying to start anything just wondering if you love women's football why that term would be used to describe a team.

I honestly don't know if Pittsburgh has played a bunch of butch teams or not. I found their website and their players are always hot year after year. For all I know maybe Pittsburgh has the most hot looking "butches" in the league and the average onlooker won't know it.

As far as using the term "butch" as derogatory...take it tongue and cheek. There is no forum for women's football to raise some hell that anyone visits. I'm trying to get some conversation started here. I go to women's athletic contests all of the time. I'm a definite supporter of women's athletics for sure. Women's sports are entertainment including IWFL and NWFA football. Never been to a WPFL game.

From my experience women's ice hockey, softball, swim teams, college basketball and soccer always have the babe athletes. Basketball (WNBA) and semi-pro football seem to get the weirdos for some reason (tatoos and men's haircuts, plus other unnecessary oddities). Not always but it sure seems like it.

I'm not saying any particular team has a bunch of weirdos, I'm just saying it is more family friendly to go to a game and not see some lesbian organization supporting the team(s) with their political presence in the stands. That probably doesn't happen with your team/league and that would be good (my opinion). That's probably why they don't get major sponsorship deals. But then again, what do I know? Would the lesbian groups be offended if I brought my pro-life supporters to a game and flaunted that?

The point is keep that political flaunting stuff out of the stands during games. It is out of place. I go to women's football games not because of that, but inspite of that.

Now for some real conversation:

I notice your guys in Carolina are classified as a X team. You aren't included in the standings for some reason. What is that all about?

I know they gave us the X-Team status because we are a new team and only have 13 players. I don't however know why we aren't listed in the standings . I can only assume that it is for the same reason. Is cool though we seem to be listed on other websites so someone knows we are there.
Thanks for the clarification on the post and keep up the good work . We are attempting to build a program to rival that of the Passion. We have great respect for that organization and hope to reach that level soon.
