What? I can't listen to this game over the Internet? Geez-o-Pete!

Seriously the schedule needs to be fixed, the Steelheads website says the next game is not until Monday, and it is against the Kings.

Anyway, it looks like Albany has invested a little more in their team now. Those new players certainly helped.

Here, Ken, let me help you out a bit.

There's Antoine Jordan scoring over Jamario Moon.

And here's Ronald Ross getting a score over Jamario Moon.

Or maybe you can wait until the Gary website grabs a few more of my month-old Patroons CBA photos and runs them on the Steelheads homepage. :)

Chuck,
Thanks for the visual re-cap (I think). Gary needs their big man back--no, not the guy that can't shoot free throws (Chris Garnett). I'm talking about Chris Alexander.

Here's another shot for you, this is from last night's 93-83 Albany victory...

..there was between 100 and 150 people in the Armory for Saturday's Gary game. People there said it was about the same the previous night. While the Conquest and the UAlbany lacrosse final (which I went to in the afternoon) were the same day, there really is no excuse for such poor attendance.

No cheerleaders, no beer vendors in the stands, and the T-shirt guy and Patroon Room closed up after halftime.

The lack of crowd didn't stop Benito from yelling to Jamario Moon, "Bet you really were in Puerto Rico" when the Patroons lead went double digits. The announcer just turned to calling him "J Moon" when he scored. I think you've seen the last of Mr. Moon in a Patroons uniform.

Benito Fernandez wasn't at the game Saturday night, or at all during this three-game homestand. And yes, the announcer did refer to him as "J-Moon," but hey that's his nickname. It was on that WWE championship belt Jamario Moon toted around during the 2006-07 season. Calling him "J-Moon" is equivalent to calling Tracy MacGrady "T-Mac." It was a sign of respect.

Before and after both of the Albany-Gary games, Jamario Moon had plenty of visits from Patroons fans. And I'll tell you something else - if it's the last time we see J-Moon in a Patroons uniform, it will most likely be because he'll be up in the NBA next year. Granted, that's a prediction, it's not me claiming some pseudofact like A1sports is known to do on occasion...

..who is the older guy (in his 60's or so) at most all the games in a sports coat that sits at center court with a woman in her 40's sitting next to him. I always thought he was the owner of the team. He was the one who said it.

There is a chance JMoon will be in the NBA. Deng Gai looks like the real deal too.

Hey Chuck. Would it be possible to get a shot of Kareem Reid from you? Willing to pay.

My nephew is a fan, he always want the Cagerz to grab him.

Last time Reid was in league he didn't do the Midwest road swing. He stayed home.
