Wow some rare good news on the USBL franchise watch.
Some NBA player has either assumed control of the Delaware Stars or poured some money into it. They will make the remainder of the season.

I wonder if that's where Stephen Jackson's recent fine money has been earmarked to go... :)

I had heard it was some player who was going to keep it all going and have his brother or cousin run it for him........... I might be going out on a limb here, but I don't believe the brother or cousin has much experience running a professional basketball team either. Oh well he'll fit right in (at least until the money runs out)

Isn't the management of the Delaware USBL team the same group that ran the NEPA Breakers?
Folding shouldn't be a shock since they folded in the ABA and the USBL previously.

NO, it is a group that runs the Delaware EBA team
As a team, they weren't that bad and the coaches put forth an effort and acted like they cared.
It's good to see they were saved if that is indeed the case.

A "group" of people who used to run the NEPA Breakers, right?? (Dallas Comegys, Mike/Joe Richmond, etc)

Well, that certainly is good news.
Now possibly we can find a quick addition for the East and finish the season with 8 teams.
