Neither Brooklyn game at home got played this weekend, along with the road game in Albany, which is appearing more like Brooklyn's problem than Albany's.

The weekend games were simply dropped from the posted schedule on the USBL web site.

Maybe the Kings are folding up too..

..Brooklyn is now listed as the Thursday night opponent for the Patroons, not Delaware, on the Patroons web site. In addition, the last two games at Delaware in June are gone.

WTF?

That is interesting.

Delaware - now funded by league
Boston/New Jersey - no shows
Long Island - pretty much a no show

Man, oh, man.

..how do you know that? Just curious.

It's certainly looking like the Patroons are going to be the Eastern Division champions, even if they are the only team in the division by the end of the season!

A few Cagerz employees told me that before their game with Delaware last week.

Before that, a couple player agents told the Cagerz they'd heard Delaware was folding.

Boy this thing is unravelling at a record pace even by USBL standards.

After watching this league via the internet and boards for a number of years I finally decided to go to a USBL game myself. Well I went to a Brooklyn Kings (then the Queens Kings) game in 2002 and they didn't play in a arena.

No they played in a theatre on a stage. Like in an old movie house where we all sat and looked at the action on the same side (well the only side) of the house.

It was actually fairly entertaining. They played the Florida Sea Dragons and I was about the only Caucasian in the building.

This league is kind of like a old alcoholic-drunken uncle, you hope it does well and you root for it but after awhile it continually lets you down and you start to kind of give up on it.
