Hi guys, I'm usually on the NIFL forums but I digress....

Does anyone know if there is a copy of the AF2 rulebook floating around in cyberspace anywhere? The league site only has an overview of the gameplay, and not a full book.

Also - are there many differences between the AFL and the AF2 rulebooks?

Thanks
Bill

It's my understanding that the AFL and af2 play by the exact same rules.

Thanks Snake. I appreciate the quick reply.

I was told that the NIFL uses the AF2 rules for the "most part". There are obvious differences without even consulting a rule book.

This will help though.

Anyone have a link to the AFL/AF2 Rule Book?

Bill,

I'm sure you've visited the afl site and have clicked on this link.

It's the only link to "rules" that I'm aware of. It's very basic. I don't know that they have their detailed playing rules, compliance issues, etc. posted anywere publicly.

Hey Bill..... The AF2/ AFL just changed their rules to incorporate some of the NIFL rules, not the other way around believe it or not... Until this year, AFL/ AF2 teams players went both ways, they changed it to an offense and defense untits like the NIFL had... Also, The NIFL is more geared to a balanced attack of run and pass.... the AFL/AF@ is mainly pass.... If a RB gets 25-40 yards, they would call that a MONSTER game

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I didn't mean to ignore ya, I just lost track of this thread.

Anyhow, I found a NIFL rulebook from 2005 and can only imagine that it's much the same NOW as it was then.

If anyone else needs a copy, feel free to let me know!
