I messed this up a little bit because as I was going through our schedule, I only saw Colorado 3 times. I'll update this tomorrow.

I think this is fixed now.

And make sure to vote in the poll. It will close on 04-27-2007 at 03:59 PM

Nice talking to myself here... oh well. At least everyone thinks the Wizards will win.

Must stop Pooh Jeter, that's all.

Elton Brown too

Yeah, I was going to say that, but then I'm like, nah, Pooh Jeter's the problem.

I wonder who'll guard him. Mo probably since Pooh is only 5'11" and Mo is good at D.

Heights:

6'11"- 2 (Bell; Rickert)
6'9"- 1 (Brown)
6'7"- 2 (Charlo; Crawford)
6'6"- 2 (Harris; Jones)
6'4"- 2 (Bobbitt; Hood)
5'11"- 1 (Jeter)

6'10"- 4 (Beasley; Benson; Lyde; Rice)
6'7"- 2 (Greer; Major)
6'5"- 1 (McCray)
6'4"- 1 (Jefferson)
6'3"- 1 (Williams)
6'1"- 1 (Baker)

Wow, we've got a major height advantage. I never noticed that before.

EDIT: Actually, if you average the heights, we have only a slight advantage.
Colorado: 78.4"
Dakota: 78.7"

If our big men actually peform well again, it's a Wizards win.

I just came from the Bismarck Civic Center. You can no longer get two seats side by side in reserved! I would bet we set a Wizard attendance record tommorrow night.

The Wizards office lost our tickets. I don't know if they were given away by mistake or if they just flat out lost them (I'm not the one that got them, but it sounds like the office is a mess). Luckily, we were able to get seats for the row directly in front of us, but they are further over than we'd rather be. So if nobody is sitting in our normal seats, we're taking them back! Or if they're occupied, maybe the people would be so kind as to move up a row. But I'm glad it sounds like it could be a record-breaking night!

I just watched part of last week's game against Sioux Falls (I taped it). They really did do a good job with it. From what it sounds like, it was shown on NBC in Bismarck, Dickinson, Williston, Minot, Aberdeen, Pierre, and Sioux Falls, and all over the world via NBA TV.

Big game tomorrow! I can hardly wait. Two teams, both in their first D-League season (one in their first season ever) battling it out for the championship! Hopefully many of the players competing tomorrow night will find themselves in the NBA next season. They all certainly are deserving of it!

That's absolutely great. I just hope I can get good seats in general admission. I'll be at the Civic Center by 4:00 probably.

23 hours and 24 minutes left!

Wow, sure sounds like a mess to me.

I watched all of the game except for the last half of the third quarter and the first half of the fourth quarter, which I didn't watch because I was running out of time. I was glad that I got to see the Sports Spotlight thing on Renaldo Major. I had found the article on it, but I hadn't seen it before.

Most deserving though, is Renaldo Major. But all of them are deserving of making the league. Some aren't quite close enough yet though.

Any predictions on how big the crowd will be? Does anyone know the top 10 largest crowds or something like that? So we could find out if the game makes top 10 atleast? Also, how did the Wizards lose your tickets? That must really suck if that's what you paid for.

By clicking on Wizard57's archive posts on this board, I stumbled across this account:

Could that be you Bri? Last activity was on Jan. 3, 2005, right around the time when the Wizards got their own message board.

Some of those old posts were in topics from the 2003-2004 season! You must be a longtime Wizards fan, Wizard57!

I don't remember that account, but the name is quite similar to my email address. Plus one of the posts was this:

"Ya, I am a huge Jayhawk and Wizards fan and Billy Thomas is rockin' the CBA right now. He is going to be called up soon."

And I am a Jayhawk fan.

I'm going to see if I can access the account. Thing is, I've got no idea what the password would be.

Hello everyone. It turns out that this is password that I still use for some things. I've got a few different passwords and this is my main one.

And I went back to that link again and I saw how to contact the account and the email was my old email so I knew that it was me before I even logged in.

Back to my other account now (after I vote for the Wizards).
EDIT: Or not, the poll is closed. Wizards win 4-0.

A few seconds after the final buzzer sounds, the camera is pointed at an angle towards a group of fans (up close) and I'm right in the middle jumping up and down like a crazy person (wearing the purple shirt). They show it for like 2-3 seconds.

The record is 6,180 set on December 31, 2001 when the Wizards beat the Saskatchewan Hawks 118-83. That was probably the sixth or seventh game that I ever attended. 6,025 is the second highest (I believe) when the Wizards beat Willie Murdaugh and the Hawks on January 29, 2002. And I really couldn't tell you any more consecutive orders from there. At the 2004 CBA Championship, it was a little over 5,100. 2001-2002 was by far the best attended season. I found in an article from 2002 that the Wizards averaged a little under 4,000 a game that season. Now they're lucky if they can get at least 4,000 in one game.

I don't know how they lost our tickets. Supposedly the general manager set them on his desk and they got lost in the mess. They (supposedly) looked for them on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday until they finally just gave us some different tickets. At least they are really close to our normal seats. Section 102, Row GG, Seats 11-12 are our seats and they gave us Section 102, Row FF, Seats 7-8. Sure, it's a row closer, but I still like our regular seats. We're taking them if no one shows up.

Im gonna have to disagree on that one. I believe the record for a Wizards game was set at their very last game of their inagural season. There should be an asterix by it. But they were selling general admission seats for a dollar. They really sucked that 1st year in the IBA. They announced the crowd at a little less than 8000.

According to the Tribune today, Eric is right, but maybe you actually are. Neither Eric or I were fans back then so we wouldn't know. This was my 7th year as a fan and I hardly remember the first few of those years because I was so young (9 the year we won the IBA championship I think).

Eric- I see that you were able to move up to your regular seats. I'm assuming you like those better than the ones you started with last night.

Those other seats just didn't feel right. We moved when the players were being introduced.

I've had a few people tell me that they saw me on TV. I'll try to watch the game sometime this week. I taped it up to 9:15, so if the tape stopped too soon, the only thing I probably missed was when Lee Timmerman was talking.

I don't know why the Tribune never puts anything like that in the paper. People were telling me yesterday that most of the players were leaving today. I went to the press conference for Joerger last spring at HawkTree and I really wanted to go to this one, but that's impossible now, having just found out about it. I also went to the one at Meriwether's (sp?) the day after the Wizards won the 2004 title. They had the trophy there and everything.

It is absolutely stupid. I just found out around maybe 12:30. If someone doesn't check there email or go to the Wizards site often, they wouldn't know about it.

I'll be bringing my camera so maybe I'll get some pics of the trophy and some videos of something. At last year's End of the Season Pigout, I got a video of Kasib getting a Team MVP award, but it was so dark in Famous Dave's that you could hardly see anything.
