Will the American Basketball Association bring back the Women's American Basketball Association to challenge the WNBA?
Yes, I always think that it's a great idea when a nearly insolvent business enters a new arena. Dave (statman) WHILE we're at it, I'm for ALL YOUR THOUGHTS:
o.j. brings back the AFL!
Dr. J., Artis Gilmore, Dan Issel, Freddie Lewis, Bill Keller, Mel Daniels and many others really bring back the ABA! They then challenge the very, very, lucrative market of the WNBA, with the WABA.
THE NIFL buys the IFL and challenges not only the AF2, but the AFL, CFL, NFL AND NFLE. DIV. 1 college football as well!
Donald Trump, Doug Flutie, Steve Young, Bobby Hebert and Jim Kelly buy the rights to the NAFL and provide as you say, "compasion" for the NFL.
Gretzy, Howe and Hull buy the WHA and challenge the NHL.
Madonna and Bud Selig make strange bedfellows, but do create women's real baseball. We'll throw Rosie in on it too.
Steinbrenner brings back the ABL, and his Cleveland Pipers to challenge not only the CBA, NBDL and USBL, but what the hey - let's go all the way and unsuit the NBA.
George Brett brings back the American Association and competes with MLB.
So Dave (statman), I know I didn't get them all, but wrestling, buck riding, slamball and court football must wait.

Well if they bring a WABA, just make sure they bring a team to Cleveland, Tn..we need more stuff like this. Oh yeah, and this area loves Women's basketball.
