Starts Play In 6.5 Months Yet They Have No Information Out To Anyone And Even If A1sports Is Telling The Truth For Once In His Life.
That Would Make 4 Teams In A Pro Basketball League , If They Had More Then 4 Lined Up They Would Have Waited Another Week Or Two To Announce Them All Together
So Much For The 16 The Rochester Razorshark Owner Promised.
So What Would That Make A 42 Game Schedule Featuring Yourself And 3 Other Teams , Yeah Fans Wont Get Tired Of Seeing The Same Team 2 Times A Week For 20 Weeks Straight..............
Pbl = A Sure Flop, If They Ever Play A Game
Reference To The Aapbl - They Called It Quits 3 Months Before The Season And They Were Light Years Ahead Of Where The Pbl Is At This Stage Of The Game.....

A1- you finally have the opportunity to bring something constructive to the table and you're taking the ball and going home with it. Every person on these boards would be interested in the details. By going the route that you are, you give yourself no credibility. You should not question when others doubt anything that is posted by you.

It appears that there is no announcement of new teams in the PBL. the PBL just lost a tremendous amount of credibility unfortunately. I was so looking forward to a fresh approach of honestly and "straight talk" Even if you can't make a annoucemnet as planned you still need to let the media and fans know , you just can't say nothing after you publicy said a annoucement was coming this week. A person now has to wonder if this is real or not.! Merging the with the CBA looks like maybe the best option for these teams. I sincerely say its to bad!

why would a PBL anouncement be listed under the ABa heading? did the Pbl realy post this or could be be a fake? I hope this is correct as I can't find it anywhere else. thanks

We had to reassign Rochester and Maryland to the new league in our database. Until then, it showed up under the old league. I tend to underestimate how fast some folks catch this stuff. It literally took no more than two minues to reassign the teams!

It will be interesting to see what other cities will announce teams. Three teams in the East and Texas. Have to figure that some more teams will be named somewhere in between. Haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but does the release give the team names for Conn & TX?

Sorry If was to quick to Jump on the PBL because of no release, very rare and unusual (very unprofessional)that a press release is released so late in the day. I'm sure if they are honest they were struggling with what to release and the other two unnamed teams simply weren't ready. Glad to see they are alive! Go PBL!

...just perused the PBL, Rochester and maryland websites. Nary a mention of the press release. If you didn't know any better, you would think that the two teams were still in the ABA. Maryland's site still has White Chocolate & Ming making their NCAA Tournament picks.
I know that it is still early, but just as easy as people knock the ABA's website for not being up to date, you have to also agree that the two 'flagship' franchises of the new league should at least have a PBL mention on their home pages. And the league site should have this posted smack in the middle of the home page, too.
A press release should be used as a tool and towards the team's advantage. I practice what I preach and am not just talking out of my a**. You can make small time big time by giving that extra effort. Hopefully they will update their sites shortly and this will be a moot point.

So what's up with Hartford and Dallas-Fort Worth? I think we should see something on them soon...
