Ok well you know I am going to go with the T-Birds obviously but so is the VP of operations of the D-league and the Atlanta Hawks D-League Scout....both said so on the D-League playoof preview show.

I am going to take ABQ by 11

Your thoughts of a possible outcome?

I'm guessing Albuquerque since they've got the so-called "three-headed monster" and Colorado has been stone cold as of late.

I'm going with T-Birds by 7 (my lucky number).

Ok cool.....

Supposedly Wafer might be back tonight since he was waived...

If Wafer is back then I'm not sure who I think will win and more importantly, who I'd prefer winning. I'd still probably go with T-Birds for who I think will win and 14ers (I switch my mind a lot, but I said this yesterday too) for who I'd want based on who I'd want to play the Wizards.

No offense. In fact, that's a complement to the T-Birds.

This is surely the problem:
Albuquerque FG% 35.6
Colorado FG% 52.1

I certainly feel for you and all of the T-Birds fans. I remember when the Wizards lost to Sioux Falls in the playoffs two seasons ago (it's revenge time by the way).

Can't win 'em all. There's always next year.

2006- Championship
2007- Division Semis
2008- Championship
Sure wouldn't be anything to complain about.

Sorry to hear about the loss. I know what that can feel like. You think that you'll be able to sleep it off, but then you pick up the paper the next morning and have to re-live it. I can tell that you're a really great fan of the team and for that reason, I was pulling for the T-Birds in the West. I don't really know of any Colorado or Idaho fans on this forum that are as enthusiastic with their team as you are with the T-Birds.

And I don't even know of any Colorado or Idaho fans on here. Like I've said before, this forum is ruled by Wizards, Skyforce, and T-Birds fans. Unfortunately for the T-Bird fans, but fortunately for everyone else, 2 of those 3 are still in. But I guess either us Skyforce or Wizards fans will be unhappy Saturday. :(

Well, thanks.

I know what the day after is like. It was definitely worst on the day of the loss last time though. I actually cried on the way home from our Game 5 loss vs. Sioux Falls back in the 2004-2005 CBA semis. I was a mess.

In that series with the Skyforce, I think it was the loss in Game 2 that really had me even more over the edge than Game 5. I knew it was a hard fought series and I was actually pulling for the Skyforce after the Game 5 loss. I was also expecting them to beat Rockford 3-0 because during Game 3 of the Finals, I updated the score and the entire team stats on USBASKET after each quarter. When Rockford won it, I was disappointed because I knew I'd have to do it again the next night. Luckily, the Skyforce won Game 4 and I was spared from doing the stats for a third time. And, even though I was disappointed that Dave Joerger switched teams, I was glad for him. But he's back and I really do not want to see the Skyforce advance this year! If the Wizards advance, I still want to play Idaho, regardless of the fact that Colorado might be the easier team to beat. A re-match of the 2004 CBA Championship would be a dream come true!

I think its going to be a great game on Saturday night it would have been even better with Amir. I hope Colorado pulls of the win and that way if Sioux Falls can pull off a win, its going to be tough, the championship games will be held in Sioux Falls. Is the championship series 1 game or best 2 out of 3?

Championship is a winner-take-all game.

Unbelievable you would think the championship would at least be best 2 of 3 oh well maybe next year they can change it.

Remember the CBA though for a few years? The first rounds were all series, but then it was a winner-take-all championship game. Those were insane. It's even worse now with the whole playoffs like this.

I think the CBA did that for 3 or 4 seasons before going back to the way they used to do it (with championship series). Last season's CBA play-off format was the weirdest format I'd ever heard of with the round-robin play and quarter points. I prefer the D-League's format over the round-robin format.

Yeah, that format was weird, but it would've gave us a better chance last year if we would've actually made the playoffs.
