At least Cincinatti is supposed to be a "legit" team.

suppose to be a legit team??? your kidding me half the teams in here cant deal with Tri Valley once we get off the ground. The league push us back a week because of turf..but thats good wiith the players because they can handle it...rather that play semi-pro. Once you see the roster and who they got, with the vets from the NIFL anf AF2 you will be suprised at the talent. no disrespect to anyone but tri valley 2007

It seems the Ranchers can beat anybody EXCEPT:

I saw it! A great game! Our guys played very well. I have to say the Lions players were good sports, unlike some from the first game we played. As far as talking trash to fans. I hope they enjoyed their stay in Greensboro.:D It didn't seem like as big a crowd this game but they were plenty loud. The cheerleaders were selling program guides. It has all the players, coaching staff, an cheerleaders in it, a game schedule, explanation of rules and official's signals. Handy for us new fans.
There were allot of turn overs, sacks, and missed passes. They must be a new team, just haven't gotten it all together yet.
I blew it big myself! I got hit with a ball and didn't catch it. It bounced off and someone else grabbed it. I got the bruise but no ball.:(

Here's the game recap from the Revolution website.
Revolution Tame Lions 72-6!!!
The Greensboro Revolution came out roaring and let the Jacksonville Lions know ho the alpha male was in this fight. The ferocious environment was one that would intimidate even the most experienced team. The Revolution took advantage of the young team early by scoring a pair of rushing Touchdowns in the first quarter. Dennis Evans had the first on a 3 yard run followed by a Willie Harris 5 yard rush. The Lions tried to get back into the game with a long drive to the Revolution 3 yard line, but was ultimately spoiled by a Victor Chavis interception deep in the endzone. The first quarter came to an end with the Revolution leading 14-0.
The Revolution wasted no time in the second quarter extending their lead with a 32 yard Touchdown pass to Tyrelle Lee from Colin Harris. This wouldn't be the only time the duo hooked up as they scored again later in the quarter on an 11 yard pass play to push the lead to 33-0. The Revolution scored one more time in the second quarter on an explosive Touchdown run by Dennis Evans for 31 yards to leave the Revolution with a 39-0 halftime lead.
The third quarter was the closest quarter of the game with both teams scoring one time. The Revolution scored on a 9 yard rush by Lamonte Stephens and the Lions scored on a 37 yard strike from Mack Frazier to Christopher Lee. The first Touchdown in franchise history gave the Lions something to cheer about but the lead was insurmountable and the Revolution never held back.
With the game out of reach, the Revolution poured on the abuse in the fourth quarter and rang up four more Touchdowns. Colin Harris ended up his day with 5 TD passes and the 3 man rushing attack of Evans, Harris, and Stephens had a combined 5 TD's of their own. This game served to be a great tune up for next week when the Revolution host the defending Atlantic Conference Champion, Fayetteville Guard. This matchup is sure to be a statement game as both teams are coming off of blowout wins. The game is set for 7:00 pm on Friday the 20th of April and tickets are still on sale at the Greensboro Coliseum Box Office, online at www.tickets.com, or by phone at 888-397-3100. Make sure to come out and cheer on your Greensboro Revolution as they fight for first place in the North Division.

Designer,
Sounds as if we saw the same game but at two different locations. Cincy came out strong but fell to pieces quickly. This game for those who would say semipro was Cincy. Not sure why they were weak but I have not kept up with all the info on this team since last year. I saw several players had returned from last year but not sure how many new ones they have, plus they could have had a coaching change, maybe someone can explain, like MarshalFan.
Anyhow, it looks as if we will have a good game at your place on FRIDAY, not Saturday that was on the schedule. Not sure why this happened but I was told last night G'boro made the change not us. No matter just a day sooner for a great game and unless you guys have improved since March 31st a great win for the Guard.
BTW, I caught a ball up at your place last year and down in C'town, SC. Never got one in the Crown but would like too. Good lick with the bruse, and hope to see you on Friday. As always, GO GUARD!!!!!!!!

So tell us who you are so we can research you Mr. All American. I have put the pads on and think guys like you who get on message boards and talk trash before you have even played a game...are a dime a dozen. Real players get it done on the field and let their play do the talking. Once you have played a couple of games and have at least one against a non-expansion team...then get back on here and tell us how great you are. Until then you are just another ATL to us!

Yea, you're going to have to give us your name....I've been searching for a while now, and I can't find anybody on any all american team named BayBaller...
Bayballer's defending as if he was Cleveland "f*cking" Gary himself!!! And if you want to go there, why are you on this board acting like you can have educated communication. Until you go to school and get good grades "and sh*t like dat", you ain't nothing but a intellectual pretender. Also, I suspect that some of us on this board are currrent ball players, past players, and maybe even coaches.....

Repeat the mantra-on field talent does not automatically equate to off-field success. You have to have strong management, skillful marketing, and a barn
to play in. In regards to running one of these things, perhaps we've watched enough to know what to do and what not to do, and will call people on it.

Haha, not the crown, the ribs! :D So I should have caught it.
I look forward to seeing the Guard Friday, I haven't see them play before. I'll get a close look, I sit right behind the opposing team bench! Better hope the Guard doesn't intimidate easily, Greensboro can make some noise! GO REVOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!

And don't forget. One missed paycheck and there goes all the great talent that's replaced by local semi-pros at the last second.

Designer, I don't think these guys will be too intimidated as they should give you some good entertainment. Don't get disgusted should you fall behind by say 21 or more points. It ain't over till it's over. I hope that now that you guys have gotten rid of some dead weight, 50+ players at the Crown pre-season game, that your guys are up to a good butt kicking. Anyhow, good luck to both teams, and please ensure the beer is as cold as last year. I will be there along with a few fans that make the trip. I would imagine we will bring 20 or Guard fans as usual for away games, might be more this year. Later, oh and as always GO GUARD!!!!!!

Drew,
There's about a dozen of us that tailgate before the game(nothing like the Crown). Come join us. We park on the side of the Coliseum closest to Coliseum Drive. Just look for the Steeler truck with the American flag flying.
