Wyoming over Pueblo. That's horrible...................

Since Pueblo doesn't have a home field anymore, I'm guessing that they might be a semi-pro team filling in for the real team or the NIFL has another Palm Beach Phantoms situattion were they only play the road portion of the schedule.

Fella's this is the 06 NIFL all over again. Someone is going to get seriously hurt with this charade. Casper can't be proud of a game like that. How? It's funny once, but not anymore. Magic is to good of a coach to go through this. Yes, maybe Casper (and Magic) can and will win it all, but what does it say if you play nothing but kids...these are not equal teams (duh).

So what is the answer, enough of the NIFL... it's cronies...

I have a hard to getting behind any of the guy's/teams anymore.

Yes, Billings is in the UIF... and that is way better.... (as they are learning).... not really better teams or players, not the case. Just consistant. IMHO the worst UIF team could beat the best NIFL team.. (sorry Coach)...

Tired of watching the train wreck... it is truly hurting the sport and all leagues/teams. Just hard to have indoor football be credible, when you have a "proffesional;" league like the NIFL, supposed to be at the top of the list... ick...or is that sick?

What can we do? Boycott? Nah... Petition? Nah... Call all the papers in all the towns with teams? nah... (The NIFL does not care)... Ideas?

What is 08 going to bring?

A majority of the players on all four of the Colorado NIFL teams are the cream of the crop of the Colorado Football Conference, Colorado's semi-pro league. Plus, I don't think any of the coaches for the four teams have any indoor coaching experience........makes for a "not so" professional product.

that is bad . But not unheard of.

Perhaps much of it has to be `expansion team syndrome'.
aka ETS complicated with a dose of `Over Expansion' aka OE.

also yesterday ...(4/13/07)
C I F L
(expansion team)Summit County 12 (charter team)Muskegon 54.
the cifl has already had 70-3 , 60-13 & 54-7
final scores for their games. Next year the
teams getting blown out will have the hang
of things is my guess. And there will be someone
else to blowout.

The silver lining is of course Wyoming fans still
have a team to watch blow opponents out of
the water by ridiculous scores. The NIFL has
to be better than `No IFL' .

Chin up , Wyoming wins the Indoor Bowl and
the opportunity to join a better league is always there.

Terrible score but it comes with the game. I am still unsure how you guys can come on here and still B--ch about the league. For some towns/cities they are glad to have a team to cheer for in all of this. You have to expect games like this as in any league that doesn't have big sponsors or millionare type owners. To me any league other than the big boys in the AFL is still a minor league trying to give it's town a good entertaining product of indoor football. My suggestion to all is support your team no matter what league they are in, go out enjoy the game, and then brag about who is better or not. As far as the Indoor bowl this year, that's to be seen down the road in late July. Early indications for me is F'ville Guard vs TBD but I think it will come from CA or TX not Wyoming.

Lets not forget that in 2004, Evansville beat Waco something like 54-7. and this was when they NIFL was supposed to be solid (I think Waco fired their coach after that game).

GTD... my problem (and hence b**ing) is that the NIFL is destroying the credibility of the sport and ruining markets.. talk to anyone in the know in towns that the NIFL has left thier mark.... Rapid is the first one that comes to mind. I doubt there will ever be indoor football in Rapid again (at least not in the forceable future) and that hurts Billings....

This isn't just mindless B***ing... sory of it comes across that way. It is frustration rearing it's ugly head day in and day out.

I am personally way past caring about the NIFL... now it is just worried about the image they give the sport. I for one rteally enjoy the games... love to keep going for many years to come... and will....

Not trying to be argumentative....

You hit it right on the head...SOME TOWNS/CITIES. Pueblo, Denver, and Colorado Springs are not those towns/cities. I am sure they would not mind having a decent team to support but these teams have been forced on these cities for some reason. We can all guess as to what the reason might be but I can tell you that 99% of the population (maybe 99.9% in Denver) in these cities have no clue that these teams even exist. So what is the point? All it does is ruin the credibility of indoor football and screw a well run, competitive team like Wyoming.

On another note, I would like to know a little more about the game. Did Pueblo have matching uniforms, helmets, etc.? Wyoming has put it to several teams now so are they really that good or was Pueblo really that bad? Anyone see the game?

I seriously don't see that Cav's leaving the NIFL because they pay no league fees if I remember correctly. And the other fact of the matter is that the Schedule was produced by someone from Wyoming for the entire league.

The Cav's fans just have to keep hoping for victories like that in order to make the Indoor bowl a home game this season. I think it's going to be CAV's and GUARD this year in another crazy NIFFLE season.

It's sad to see some of the people that work for these teams and some of the owners that are trying to do the right thing just suffer through another NIFFLE season. And those of you who are just fans, trying to support the teams in your home town, keep supporting your boys but let ownership know how you feel about the NIFL! Get your fan clubs and other organizations out in the community doing good things but make sure that ownership knows that the NIFL is not the reason you are supporting your team. You are supporting your team because they are just that, YOUR TEAM!

Force ownership to make a choice, NIFL or YOU! Support your team this season knowing that you have no intention on supporting them through another rediculas NIFFLE display next year!

Yes, a win is a win, but what happens when a team like the CAVs play against the Guard and then get BLOWN OUT? That makes this league (if you can call it a league) look even worse!

NOTE TO THE NIFFLE:
-if you want to know how to run a first class minor league, call the ECHL OFFICES! While they have some turnover when it comes to markets, the ECHL does a great job in making minor league, professional hockey, affordable and fan friendly! That is what the NIFL should be focusing on. Quit the BS massive expansion and focus on the few fans that have been supporting these organizations through all of this crap!

*sigh*

(ok, I'm done venting)

That is the real question. Did some semi pro team just go up there and play or did the NIFL pay for their travel and their uniforms, equipment, etc.

I was at the game and I can say that Pueblo was really bad..Also i will say this..Wyomings team is the best team they have ever had. Most of the Rapid Team from last year moved over to Wyoming and then they added Matt Strand he is definately if not the best Qb for this league he is definately in the top 2. The coaching staff also is tops. There was a post on this thread that said the finals will be fayetteville against a tx or cal team..I don't see that. Beaumoont came into Wyoming last year and lost. This wyoming team now is definately better than last year. Plus the way it looks the playoffs will run thru Wyoming because of the schedule and only San Diego in San Diego has a chance right now for them to not go undefeated. And this is not Wyomings fault. I have no clue of wyoming making the schedule for the whole league we are just another franchise we are not part owner of the league and we have no control over anything but our franchise. We have a great fanbase here but what else is there to do here LOL.

It was definately a Pueblo team they played and they had matching uniforms but we did notice some guys swapping out helmets. They definately lost thier fire in the second half. And were definately shell shocked at what happened

Gt Drew....dude How Can You Come On Here, Saying You Can't Understand Why We B****h About This League? Are You Freakin Serious? And To Be "proud" Of The Guard And Saying You Guys Are Gonna Be In The Indoor Bowl...is That Really Something To Be Proud Of? The Reason The Guard Stayed In The Nifl Is Because They Knew That This Was The Only Chance They Would Have To Win A Title Of Any Sorts.....to Not See The Problem Guard Fans With This League, Proves What I've Been Saying All Along.....there Are'nt Many Smart Fans In Fayetteville.....screw The Guard.

This was another NIFL joke, akin to the replacement team games from last year. Wyoming was up by 83 points before Pueblo finally scored. At that point the Cavs were already trying to run out the game, and according to the newspaper account, still scoring.

Early indications for me is F'ville Guard vs TBD but I think it will come from CA or TX not Wyoming.

What early indications? Beaumont is the only Texas team to play so far and they won by two over a team that hadn't ever played the game. Of the California teams, San Diego was walloped by 37 points at Wyoming, and Los Angeles was a 47-point loser to SD! Those are the only two California teams to have played before tonight. In fact, the early indications on the field show that Wyoming is heads and tails above all these hastily assembled teams.

Maybe after tonight we will see where the Drillers stand playing at San Diego.. My prediction is San Diego wins this one. They are not a bad team. They have a very hard hitting Defense... And hopefully see where other teams stand as well.. From the looks of it so far I agree with Preeths Wyoming is on top of its game..And you can't take that away from em. They are real

Actually, Muskegon is also an expansion team. Not to mention Summit County may be among the worst teams in indoor football because of some bad handling of the team this offseason.

This year's best teams in the NIFL are Fayetteville and Wyoming, hands down. No one is really close to them.

The NIFL just needs to start over next year. They can not continue on like this for much longer.

And the first thing they need to do it get rid of Carolyn and Cleveland. These two are fiddling while the league is burning.

Something to keep in mind is that scores like this are the EXCEPTION, not the NORM, in the top-tier leagues. (UIF and af2). The NIFL has a running history of throwing teams together to play the few (and I mean few) quality organizations out there.

Oh, and there is no freaking way that Wyoming isn't in the running for the championship. I haven't seen a team yet in the NIFL that can match them.

well if they are in the final two together......and the "joke" of an indoor bowl....go wyoming!!!! i hate fayetteville and i'm cringing the thought of them coming to columbia in 3 weeks....why? because i love to trash talk these guys, but it's gonna be hard to trash talk when the score is gonna be 100- to whatever........columbia is coming along (if they get turf) but there is no way i see them even coming close to scoring on the guard.....if the stingers can win their next few games and gets pumped up, they may be prepared to score a few points......

Doh! Sorry, forgot about the Guard. Sorry Guard fans!

I'd agree with this, GoCavs1. A NIFFLEbowl of Guard/Cav's would be a good championship.

Wyoming has a great team to watch! It's the EX Flying Aces team. 50 percent of the roster played in RC...of course though...Majic drags his teams all over the place where ever he goes, nice to see them doing well though!
