Greetings from Elmira Ny. As some of you know Elmira is joining the ECHL for the 2007-08 season. The Elmira Jackals are leaving the UHL United Hockey League. I am looking forward to seeing some ECHL action in Elmira this is a great move by the ECHL and the Jackals. Elmira Expectations for the ECHL are to get 45 or more wins for this upcoming season. Also We have signed Frank Littlejohn check him out at hockeydb.com hope to have a great 07-08 season in the ECHL.

This is old, but I don't truly care either. I'm glad we made the move and things have gone better then expected, not many realize before the move this once stable franchise was on life support, all due to one mistake of a season. In one season Perry Florio nearly killed 4 years go hard work. Then came the demise of the UHL. W were left to be the only eastern team, tried it and didn't fair too well. But ever since it seems as if the franchise is in as good a shape as its ever been. We like lead the league in callups. We have led the league in sellouts these 3 years. We have also seen some Jackals see NHL Time. This woulda been a good move 10 years ago, though the UHL Move was a good idea at the time.
