...do what folks have long wanted to see: raise the hoops to at LEAST twelve ft. and 2) impliment hard nets on either side of the hoops, like in Arena Football, to facilitate more rebound action, and more trick passing and feed options.
this would revivify pro basketball.

That'll just make the league more of an oddity and gimmick. I think that would further hurt the league, not help it.

Hurt the league further? Is that possible? Is it possible to become even more pregnant? I remember a few years ago watching some kind of basketball game playing inside a cage with trampolines all over. The entire game was amazing slam dunks, thats all. They were on TNT or Spike TV or something. As idiotic as that was, THEY were on TV.......The ABA is a rec-league no one cares about. The ABA couldn't sell Preparation H at a hemmoroid convention !!

You're refering to Slamball. It did play on Spike TV for two years. One of the backer of Slamball was Pat Croce, who was once associated with the 76ers.

Yeah, Slamball was a fad and look, it only lasted 2 years. Heck, the ABA in it's rotten present form has lasted longer.

Alien Space Bats make every other basketball league cease to exist.

My alien ninja flying pigs can kick your alien space bats' collective posteriors!
All this because someone believes that people don't actually want to watch dunks? I'm sorry, mtedora, but either my sarcasm meter is broken, or I lost humor Thursday night (inevitable outcome of ex-wife issues, even if it's 99% absurd), or, well, you don't want to know.
