Well those of you who read the link to CHL's site about Laredo being champions need to know more. In the most exiting series in league history, the refs gaffed the biggest call in the history of hockey. In overtime Laredos player shot the puck, clearly hitting the post and then getting kicked away by Shreveports goalie. The ref emphatically called a no goal, but the goal judge (a volunteer from Laredo) turned the light on. Play continued shortly untill confetti came down on the ice from above. The ref then had to stop play. He went to the line refs, both said they didnt see it go in. He then went to the local goal judge, who said it did. Wow. The biggest travesty in minor league history. To read more about it you can go to shreveporttimes.com cause the CHL site didnt mention a damn word, even though their head of officiating said it was a wrong call. You can see the video at ktbs.com or the shreveporttimes.com. Thank you for letting try to explain this. The rules and officiating have to change, or your team in your league could getted shafted.
